At Freddy Finds Refunds, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of the individuals (“Claimants”) we assist in retrieving unclaimed funds owed to them. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and share Claimants’ information.

Information Collection and Use In order to locate and recover unclaimed funds on behalf of Claimants, we will need to collect certain personal information, which may include names, contact details, Social Security numbers, and other identifying data. This information will be used solely for the purpose of researching, filing claims, and recovering the rightful funds owed to the Claimant.

Sharing of Claimant Information to facilitate the claims process, we will need to share Claimants’ personal information with relevant government agencies and organizations that maintain records of unclaimed funds. This may include state treasuries, the Internal Revenue Service, or other public entities that hold unclaimed property. We will only share the minimum information necessary to identify the Claimant and file the appropriate claims.

In addition, we may share Claimants’ information with our own subcontractors who need to interact directly with Claimants, such as to obtain signatures or other necessary documentation. We will also share Claimants’ information with shipping companies as needed to send packages, documents, or other materials related to the claims process.

We will only share Claimants’ information with entities that we have determined are necessary to complete the claims process on the Claimant’s behalf. We do not sell or rent Claimants’ personal information to any third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

Data Security We take the protection of Claimants’ personal information very seriously. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure of Claimants’ data in our possession.

Data Sharing

  • Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Messaging Terms and Conditions

  • The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers.
  • You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text ‘STOP’ to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message ‘STOP’ to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
